He was born in the village in which he now lives but spent his career in the capital city of Rabat returning home when he retired. We were invited to his home for a lunch of couscous chicken, which was delicious. He showered us with his kindness and generosity. He didn't speak a word of English, and my French isn't that good, but his smile never faded, and his gracious hospitality was exemplary.
