I found this an informative post. We had an old dog that could have used one of those doggie wheelchair devices in the past, whom we had to put down because he couldn't walk anymore. This would helped out a lot, so I'm glad to know the product is out there.

I know a lot of animal lovers who find this information very useful. Most of us find our dogs are members of our family and travel is more fun with them, when possible.

My worst flight ever.... The guy behind me had 2 longhaired cats in a cage under my seat. Kept bringing each one out for a good scratch. You could see the stray hairs floating in the air. Sneeze....Sneeze.... But you're alternative sounds like a great idea !!

Agree about pets on the plane -- with rare exception they don't belong there. The idea here is that these animals are scattered around the airport to provide folks with a point of stress relief. I sure we'll hear more about the program in the coming months.
