The maritime city of Liverpool is gearing up for a summer of events and celebrations led by the arrival of Cunard's "Three Queens" to the Mersey.   Cunard is celebrating 175 years of sailing this year with three key anniversary cruises.

A Liverpool judge, ruling in a test cast that may affect thousands of British travelers, has ordered airlines to stop delaying compensation they are owed for canceled or delayed flights.

The Liverpool Eye is located near the Albert Dock in Liverpool next to the Convention Centre. It stands 60 meters high with 42 air conditioned cabins.

When I tell folks I meet on Vacation I'm from Liverpool UK they say "You must be enjoying all this beach life.  Long walks on the Sand.  Fishing.  Fresh air and gorgeous sunsets" so I reply "No. I get all this back in Liverpool- I'm just here for a change in scenery".
