Three Queens to Dance on the River Mersey Liverpool UK.

The maritime city of Liverpool is gearing up for a summer of events and celebrations led by the arrival of Cunard's "Three Queens" to the Mersey.

Cunard is celebrating 175 years of sailing this year with three key anniversary cruises which include a visit to Liverpool, the original home of Cunard. The Queen Mary, the Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Victoria will rendezvous on the Mersey on May 25. In a salute to their spiritual home, the ships will perform a series of synchronised manoeuvres (a "riverdance") at the Pier Head in front of the iconic Cunard Building.
