Is Dexter fully grown now ? How old is he ? He looks brave enough to tackle a cold winter. Does he get shelter from the snow ?

Re: March 14, 2018: Meet Dexter

DrFumblefinger ·
Hi Garry, I think I can answer most of your questions. Dexter is fully grown. He does well in winter and does not need special shelter. The same is true of most cattle in Alberta. They develop a thick warm coat that protects them from the cold. Unlike most bulls, which have a very foul temper, Dexter is sweet natured with his humans. Perhaps we'll need to ask Dr Jon to share a video of him taking Dexter for a walk.

Maybe Dr Jon could stand close by for a photo ? Give Dexter some perspective. Or lean his bicycle against the fence ! He certainly looks like an economy sized Aberdeen Angus - Thanks for sharing.
