Yet another drop in service, but one that likely will have minimal impact on most customers. If it saves millions of dollars, and the savings are used to reduce company overhead (say instead of bonuses for executives), I think consumers will be supportive.

I flew Frontier last week. From Miami to Philadelphia. Pleasant, courteous staff. Clean plane. Couple of hours in the air. None of the refinements of a long haul flight - I knew not to expect any. Just like any European Budget carrier. I'd recommend them to anyone. Nice folks.

Blast from the past, indeed. For several months in 1969 I watched Siegfried & Roy from the wings of the Americana Hotel stage in Puerto Rico, as mysterious in touching distance as from the audience.
