NYC to scream for ice cream

The Museum of Ice Cream, a sweetly-commercial production that started as a pop-up in 2016 and has been on the go since will now open a permanent site in New York's SoHo district.

With more than a million visitors so far in its various locations, it's become a sizable business as well as a huge attraction, even though tickets, which include lots of tastings, go for north of $30 each, and must be reserved in advance. San Francisco now also has a permanent space, and there are tie-in deals with Sephora, Target and New York's Transit Authority.

Visitors to the 'museum' get to play in a sprinkle pool and take part in an MTA-sponsored 'celestial subway' as well as a dozen other exhibits spread over a 25,000 square foot three-floor space.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
