A friend shared these photos of her dog, standing in a pool of red. At first I thought her dog, Shorty, might be bleeding, perhaps badly cut or something. Turns out, this unhappy creature had just had a close encounter of the third kind with a skunk. This is what Shorty looked like after a bath with tomato juice.
The tomato juice didn't work too well at getting the smell off Shorty, although it did stain Shorty's fur an interesting color of orange. Anyone know of a sure-fire remedy to get rid of that bad smell?
