I was intrigued by the painted colors on the sheep in your photo. Looked it up to find fields are shared by many sheep farmers and the colors identify the farm to which they belong. Also, rams are outfitted with dye bags on their chest, so when they impregnate a ewe, a bit of the ram dye color can be seen on the ewe.

I love every day scenes of every day people, Mac, and this is a great one. While not as eloquently dressed, he brings back to memory Kuttan, the official greeter at the Galle Face Hotel in Sri Lanka, who's been working there for something like 50 years. He didn't speak a word of English, but was always very kind and gracious.
