Thanks for the comment, Rob. There will be a few reviews and a post on food in general. This particular plate was just €10.50 and the fish was wonderful, as was the salad (terrific dressing)!

A fabulous collection! I have to visit it next time I'm in L.A. I believe the batmobile is in there somewhere, right?

It really is a fabulous connection and indeed the batmobile is there on the third floor. We were lucky enough to be there when they started it up to move it.

I'm a big fan of Frank Gehry's perspective-bending architecture. And for those also intrigued, there's an excellent 2005 Sydney Pollack documentary about the man, 'Sketches of Frank Gehry', available on Netflix.

Do you find Dessert first leaves no room for a main meal ? And secondly - if its that delicious - who cares ! It's not like you're doing this at home now - or is it ?

GarryRF, As you know if we were to constantly indulge in a spread like this, we'd be rolling in like beach balls instead of walking in. It's just a treat. Desserts at home are much simpler fare, but always enjoyed!

Now there's an idea...instead of ordinary tables, there could be treadmills, stationary bikes, stairclimbers and so forth, each with a small table top for the dessert. As you worked off the calories of each serving, you could go get another...

Re: Las Vegas -- last stop of the Elvis tour

GarryRF ·
The amazing story of the King. His lifelong love of performing and giving the public his best, night after night. But like so many of his time he was removed from the stage when his life was abruptly cut short. His work and contribution to music live on today and attract a new age of admirer to appreciate his style and charisma. Gone but certainly not forgotten. Good story, well told and pictures that illustrate the story. Thanks DrF !! (and - of course - Ottoman )
