Near the entrance of Istanbul's Topkapi Palace, once the home of the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, we found the residence of another "royal family," the cats that are to be found throughout the city. The inscription on the side translates to "Fatih Municipal District Cathouse."

Of course, Istanbul is not the only city with entitled cats...here's another residence, this one on church steps in Venice.
