New York City hit a record high of over 54 million visitors last year—but it wasn't enough to keep Mickey's hometown of Orlando from becoming the No. 1-visited U.S. city with 4 million more. New York has a lot of attractions, but lacks year-round sunshine and The Mouse.
Travel industry news site Skift reports that New York got a third of all overseas visitors, while Orlando drew its bulk from domestic visits. Both cities, though, are riding on a wave of visitors from China, Brazil and India.
