Virginia, whose tourism promoters have made the slogan "Virginia is for Lovers" famous for years are now leveraging it with a series of new ads that go beyond the lovers.
The new ads will run through mid-November playing on three new themes, using TV and print. The new campaigns are also reflected in updates to the websites of the Virginia Tourism Corporation.
The three new themes are 'Virginia is for... Foodies,' focusing on Virginia's food and drink scene; 'Virginia is for... Families,' which highlights family-fun adventures, and finally 'Virginia is for... Outdoor Lovers,' showcasing the state's natural beauty.
