Over 200 European cities, including Stockholm, will ban vehicles in their city centers September 19th. This is being done for European Mobility week, a campaign focusing on the environmental impact of the automobile and also transit alternatives.

Let's hope that the mobility impaired don't have to go anywhere that day. Let's hope no one needs an ambulance or police or fire dept services.

Seems a retrogressive primitive move to me. What's next? The same government banning vehicles altogether?
