June 16th, 2016- Love Them or Hate Them- Brussels Sprouts

This is one of the crops grown in northern England, the "Brussels Sprout." They prefer a cool or cold climate - which they get here in autumn through to winter. These "Triffid" like plants can seen in abundance before Christmas- but many folks from the City don't know what it is - when they take a winter walk in the country.

Interesting plant. I'm not sure I've ever seen them growing like this before either. I also have a love and hate relationship with the brussel sprout -- rarely I enjoy them. More than rarely I dislike them.
