Julia Child's Kitchen: Now for rent on Airbnb

'La Pichoune,' the Provencal cottage of Julia Child and her husband Paul, is now available as a (pricey) rental on Airbnb, looking much as it did 50 years ago when the couple entertained friends and fellow foodies there.

With 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, extensive gardens and—of course—a serious kitchen, with all the utensils and appliances in place for serious cooking, it can sleep 6. The owners are wary of 'events' being staged there, although it is occasionally rented to organizers of cooking classes.
