Gatwick Airport, London, has installed new software for Airport Collaborative Decision Making, a concept that means all vendors, airlines and the airport itself sharing information for safety and efficiency. That is a lot of flights in an hour!  I thought planes like to wait 90 -120 seconds between takeoffs to allow air turbulence to settle and reduce chances of an accident.  I wonder how they got around that?
