'55 Ford Fairlane, but there's something about the hood that looks a bit wrong...

I'm pretty sure that the car is a 1956 Ford, not a 1955.

This looks like a 1955 Ford sedan. Does it have some type of lights on top of the rear fenders? I don't believe I have seen that before.

I can't tell you how many "road trip" movies I've seen, some of them full of tense drama and some just hilarious...(one of my favorites, I have to admit, is "The Long Long Trailer," with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, which everyone says I'm not old...
