My apologies to the three Guessers who correctly identified Where Gumbo Was...when I wrote the blog, the guesses were not in yet. When I updated it with the congratulatory paragraph, I apparently failed to save it, and the older version went "live" this morning. I visited Prague in Feb. a few years ago and had a wonderful time. Even in the cold middle of winter there was a vibrant outdoor life. A great place any time.

When I was in Berlin I wanted to see this tribute, but I simply ran out of time. Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos of such an important monument.

I was impressed by the name of the memorial. "Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe". Full credit and kudos to the Germans for acknowledging what happened and their role in it. I'm not sure if other countries would have used such strong language.
