New travel guidebooks are all about the food

"Rice, Noodle, Fish" is the first guidebook to be published under Anthony Bourdain's partnership with travel and food website Roads & Kingdoms. This book by Matt Goulding focuses on Japan's food culture. Lonely Planet has also come out with a new line of From the Source, cookbooks that that focus on the cuisines of Thailand and Italy.  It's been my experience that food tours are growing in popularity across the globe.  If an army marches on its stomach, then so does the world's growing flocks of tourists.
