Two more airlines in TSA fast lane

Two more significant international carriers have signed on with the Transportation Safety Administration's PreCheck program, allowing more travelers to get through security faster.

The addition of Alitalia and Qantas brings the list up to 73 participating airlines whose passengers, if they're enrolled, can use the PreCheck lanes at over 200 U.S. airports. PreCheck members can keep their shoes on, laptops in their bags and generally move faster.

The program only operates in the U.S., but it covers passengers leaving on international trips. Travelers who belong to the Global Entry program that can speed returning travelers through Customs and Immigration get PreCheck as part of the program.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
