The North Sea Coast, Late Summer

We're lucky to live close to the "Long Sands" between Redcar and Saltburn on the North Yorkshire Coast. Its an ideal exercise spot, and at low tide offers a wide, vast expanse of flat sand and big skies.

Another attraction is that the beach changes daily, as the sand contours change with the tide, and shingle banks shift, with ever changing light. Its been an ideal 'lockdown' location for social distancing with wonderfully fresh air and the calming ever-present soundtrack of the tide.
