Grand Teton National Park is located in northwestern Wyoming, south of Yellowstone National Park and north of Jackson. The park covers over 300,000 acres.
Grand Teton NP is named for Grand Teton, the tallest mountain in the Teton Range, standing 13,775 feet (4,199 m); the range also has nine other peaks reaching over 12,000 feet.

I've visited Grand Teton National Park four times over the years and have always been impressed by its beauty. The park is filled with stunning landscapes....
Against the backdrop of rugged peaks are meadows, forests, lakes, and the early flow` of the Snake River.....
Like most people, our trips through Grand Teton were usually as a drive-through trip heading to or from Yellowstone National Park. During our last trip we decided to linger, driving side-roads, doing short hikes, and taking lots of photos.
The park still has a number of glaciers, although these are receding.
Grand Teton National Park is worthy your visit.
