Scotty's Outdoor Supply, Oregon

Situated on highway 86, enroute from the town of Halfway to the Hell's Canyon Dam, is a rustic shop I found interesting. I'm referring to Scotty's, the last place to get fishing and camping supplies, groceries, snacks and booze before reaching the rafting put in at the Hell's Canyon Dam.

Besides the odds and ends available for purchase, Scotty's features a nice display of local fish and game trophies, including salmon, sturgeon, bighorn sheep, and lots of deer.

As you might expect, the conversation is interesting and advice is free!
