Moody Gardens Galveston Texas is a complex of family fun with a Rainforest Pyramid, Aquarium Pyramid, 3-D and 4-D movies, a water park, river boat, hotel, restaurants and golf course.
On a recent visit with my granddaughter, four-year-old Ainsley, we visited the rainforest and aquarium. It’s easy to see her interest and wonder as she looks in every display case watching the birds, animals and fish in creative displays.
Moody Gardens began in the mid-1980s with a horse barn, a riding arena with a hippotherapy riding program for people with head injuries and an extraordinary vision to create an island tourist destination. Today Moody Gardens welcomes more than 2 million visitors annually.
