Now Downton Abbey's an Airbnb!

But only for one night.

In a promotion that links Airbnb with the new Downton Abbey movie that continues the story of the long-running drama series, one lucky couple will be able to book one night at Highclere Castle, the stately home seen throughout the series.

The lucky couple who get the deal (listed on Airbnb at $157) will have cocktails and dinner with the real-life occupants, the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, followed by coffee in the library and a night in a palatial bedroom with views over the thousand-acre estate. In the morning, breakfast and a private tour of the grounds.

The hosts won't actually be making a profit on the rental at the castle, which has been in the family since 1679; they're doing it in return for Airbnb making a sizable contribution to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

If you're curious what a castle looks like listed on Airbnb, click HERE. And if you'd like to be the lucky couple, well, click there again after 12 pm British Standard Time on October 1st to see if it's still available.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
