Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge is about a 15-minute drive from my home. It's a nature preserve that has wetlands, which are important for migratory birds especially ducks and geese making their way north or south, depending on the season.

Though there was some smoky haze in the air from Alberta wildfires, I thought the views quite pretty,
