July 15, 2020: Wiñay Wayna, Peru

Situated off the Incal Trail, close to Machu Picchu, this Inca Ruin rests on a steep hill overlooking the Urubamba River.  The site is situated at 2650 m (about 8700 feet) above sea level and the path leading to it is steep, so getting there is quite a workout.
