In Nepal, it's 'Get out and push!'

If you've ever complained about how far you've had to travel inside an airport, listen up. If you've groused about queuing for a shuttle to a remote boarding post, we're talking to you. If it's griped your guts to have to go down the stairs to leave your plane... enough!

In Nepal recently, passengers leaving a Tara Airlines plane landing at Bajura, Nepal not only had to deplane at a remote post, climbing down the stairs, they then had to push the plane to the terminal. Well, not had to... but they did it, anyway, after the plane blew a tire on landing and couldn't taxi.

Tara, a Nepali airline with a fleet of six De Havilland DHC-6-300 Twin Otter planes, flies short hop domestic flights, connecting outlying areas to Kathmandu

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
