In a Hawaiian Rainforest

 

The island of Kauai is one of the wettest places on earth, some regions receiving over 400 inches of rain a year -- more than an inch a day on average! There is a dry "leeward" side to the island, where rainfall is much less, but the vegetation on the island overall is lush and lovely.
