Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida, is a fun and exciting family destination; However, although Universal Studios does offer activities for children of all ages, it is my opinion that the majority of this vacation destination caters to and may be more appropriate for older children (approximately eight years of age or older), for many of the attractions consist of wilder or rougher rides and deal with a more mature subject matter (such as Marvel super heroes, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, or the Simpsons, to just name a few).
Consisting of two theme parks (Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure), the CityWalk (which contains a wide variety of restaurants and other entertainment activities), and hotels, Universal Studios will not disappoint. I should also point out that Universal Studios Theme Park tickets are a fraction of the cost than Disneyworld Theme Park tickets.
