This Railroad was saved from demolition in 1985 by enthusiasts and is now the most successful Tourist Railroad in the US.
The Steam Train takes you for a ride through Lancaster PA. Amish country and you can see the farmers working the land with horse and plough. The horse drawn wagons. Beautiful scenery.
I visit this Museum and ride the old trains every time I pass through.
Cant resist it. You'll love it too.
Head for Strasburg PA.

One of my favorite trips...and the State Railroad Museum is nearby, as well as a fabulous National Toy Train Museum.

It's just across the street from the Museum Paul - behind the Locomotive on the right of picture.

The station certainly is the prettiest and cleanest I've ever seen.

The food was better than I expected.

And all the folks, young and old, were having great fun !
