Frontier adds monthly all-you-can-fly

Frontier Airlines, the ultra-low-cost carrier that has made recent headlines with all-you-can-fly seasonal passes is now offering a $149 monthly pass that will renew each month until canceled. It comes with a $99 enrolment fee, though.

Frontier calls its scheme the GoWild! Pass. It has previously offered a one-year pass, a summer pass, and is currently offering a $299 fall and winter pass. The monthly pass has to be canceled before midnight on its final date to avoid being charged for another month.

Passholders can confirm flights the day before a domestic flight or 10 days before an international one. Bookings are billed at 1¢ each, plus taxes and fees. Fees are a big part of Frontier fares, including ones for seat selection, baggage and more. Still, for truly frequent fliers...
