French pol says 'Call the Mouse-keteers!'

Or more precisely, call the mousers. That's the demand of French National Assembly member Aurore Bergé, who wants cats installed at the National Assembly and at the Elysée Palace to chase a growing mouse problem.

Bergé, a member of Pres. Macron's party, told Paris Match that "we need a cat at the Palais. A few of us are pushing for this to happen because there are far too many mice there and at the National Assembly."

It's not a far-out cry in a city where rodents, including rats are believed to far outnumber people. There are already cats at work in several government ministries and in the apartments set aside as official residences.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
