Canada Ontario Picture of the Day Road Trip

Confederation Beach Park, Hamilton, Ontario

In October of last year my husband Gene and I spent a week in Buffalo, NY and were lucky enough to enter Ontario, Canada for a day or so. After seeing Niagara from both the US and Canada we headed a little north to a city called Hamilton. While there we spent some time checking out the Royal Botanical Garden as well as this amazing park called Confederation Beach Park.

This park is pretty touristy but cool. It includes an outdoor waterpark, Adventure Village, an amusement centre with laser tag, bumper cars, an 18 hole mini-golf course, as well as many restaurants. However what pulled me to the area was being able to see Lake Ontario. We have now officially seen all of the 5 Great Lakes! But in all seriousness, this looks like a wonderful place to bring the kids and have a fun afternoon.
