Breeze adds Boston-area routes

Breeze Airways is adding another New England city to its network—sort of. In its first flights to the Boston area, it's adding service to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, which is actually over the border into New Hampshire.

The routes, which will launch at different dates over the next few months, are non-stop flights to Charleston, South Carolina, Fort Myers Florida, and Orlando, Florida. It will also offer 'BreezeThru' service to Tampa. 'BreezeThru' is a revival of a once-common practice, the direct flight: The plane will stop at Charleston to discharge passengers and take on new ones, but Tampa passengers will keep their seats and not leave the plane.

Manchester-Boston is 55 miles north of Boston's Logan International Airport, but for many living in Boston's western and northern suburbs its as close or closer. The airport recently lost Delta service, but has flights on American, United, Southwest and Spirit and will soon see flights by Avelo as well

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
