Belgium: Hunt is on for owners of stolen bikes

Brussels police raided a depot last June, and were surprised to find a huge number of stolen bikes, although probably not as many bikes as can be seen parked in the picture above.

While they were able to quickly locate some owners, so many were unidentified that police have started a Facebook page to spread the word and encourage owners to show up and claim their wheels.

Pictures of the stolen bikes are posted on the profile Veloflic Polbru. Owners who recognize a bike and want to claim it will have to either supply registration details, or if the bike is unregistered, answer a questionnaire to describe a list of specific characteristics about the bike in question.
