With movie theatres closed in so many places, there's still a way to watch with your neighbors: Stay in your own car at a drive-in movie. And if you happen to live where the drive-ins disappeared fifty years ago, there's still hope.
Full Moon Drive-in, a division of a company that goes by the grand name of Ultimate Outdoor Entertainment, is offering to bring one to your town, with an LED screen mounted on the back of a truck. With that mobility, any parking lot or open area can be an instant theatre.
The company, which also has smaller 'Backyard Movie' set-ups knows it's up against widespread streaming services, but believes there's still a big-screen market to be tapped, especially since its LED screens are suitable for daylight shows, without waiting for dark. They've also been rented for church services and graduation ceremonies.
