Austrian airline announces new 8 minute international flights

People’s Viennaline, an Austrian airline, will launch the shortest international flights twice daily flight between ,St Gallen, Switzerland (ACH) and Friedrichshafen, Germany (FDH). The flight will take 8 minutes and starts October 31. Drive time between the airports is only an hour so it will actually take longer counting going through security.

The current shortest international flight is between Brazzaville, Congo and Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
