Fraser Island is the only place on earth where you can find tall rainforests growing on sand dunes at elevations of over 200 metres! Its famous 75 Mile Beach is also known for some of the best fishing in the world and is a great place if an exciting surfing experience is what you are looking for. If you are thinking of going to Fraser Island, just take note that there is no road on the island. It has a beach highway so if you want to explore more of what the island has to offer, cruising it by 4x4 is the only way to go!
