Are robots the future in hotel staff?

Nanyang Technological University in Singapore unveiled their intelligent robot, Nadine. She looks like a human and has soft skin and brunette hair. She is capable of showing emotions and can remember names and conversations. Right now, Nadine is acting as a receptionist at the University to test her skills.

Nadine is the doppelganger of it's creator, Prof Nadia Thalmann and is powered by intelligent software similar to Apple’s Siri.

With technological improvements to silicon chips, sensors and computation, robots such as Nadine are poised to become more visible.  Already a hotel in Japan is using robots.

Is this the future for hotel staff?
