For over 100 years the Picci family has spent the winter and spring providing fun for children and adults in Florence Italy. Since the early 20th century they have maintained and operated a carousel in the Piazza della Republica. today you will find the 4th and 5th generation of the family running the merry-go-round, selling tickets and restoring this beautiful ride (the 6th is at the age where they are enjoying riding it). So, if you come to Florence during the colder months, come to the Piazza and enjoy the carousel. (prices are €1 for children and €2 for adults)
