“World’s Strangest-Looking Plane” turns 20

The Airbus “Beluga” celebrates its 20th birthday, looking, as it always has, like a giant whale in the sky…you can see a picture at the link below. The special-purpose plane was built by Airbus for its own use; it transports large parts between primary assembly plants at Toulouse, France and Hamburg, Germany. It’s capable of carrying complete wings for an A340 or a complete passenger cabin of an A350. MORE
