Where Cheers Was: Faneuil Hall, Boston

It makes me incredibly sad to share this post, but I wanted to remind people of some of the things the pandemic caused, besides millions of lives lost. While in Boston for work a couple of years before the Coronavirus spread across the world, I was able to visit this wonderful establishment and enjoyed of cup of clam chowder along with a Samuel Adams.

This was not the original location, that one is on Beacon Hill, but it was where the replica of the inside of the Cheers bar was, and is more of a homage to the TV show. It was quite busy when I was there, so I was seated outside, but had a great time enjoying the cool fall weather and people watching. Unfortunately my husband wasn’t with me and will never be able to visit this location. Sadly, this is something that is becoming too familiar even years after things are “back to normal.”  Hope you enjoy these pictures of this wonderful place, now gone.
