During our Northeast Fall Adventures through ME, VT and NH, we were able to spend some time near the Von Trapp Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. We like craft beer, so we decided to check out the Von Trapp Bierhall & Restaurant for a quick beer and a pretzel. Both were amazing, but the views were what stole the show that day. They were phenomenal. We decided to sit outside and take in the view while enjoying our beers.
While enjoying the beautiful fall weather, I enjoyed reading the little pamphlet they gave out with some history about the Von Trapp family after leaving Austria, how the lodge began, as well as the early years of their beer business. It was probably one of my most favorite days during our whole time we were in the northeast. We had also visited Ben and Jerry’s that day, so you know it had to be a good day, lol . The Von Trapp Brewing is a must-do while in the area. Prost!
