Each Spring, along with the magnificent magnolias and charming cherry blossoms, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden puts out spectacular beds of tulips near the lily pools.
The variety is amazing, not only with so many colors, but also shapes and size, including fringed varieties, and some whose color is so intense it seems hardly possible it could be natural.
That’s particularly true for some of the very dark ones, such as Black Parrot and Queen of Night, below.
