The Transportation Safety Administration is offering a $20-off rate for travelers under 30 enrolling in its PreCheck trusted traveler program. The offer is good through May 31.
PreCheck members go through separate security lines at airports, and have fewer requirements for what needs to come out of bags and go into bins, including liquids and laptops. The program has recently added a touchless option at 65 airports.
TSA uses three vendors to handle enrolment—Idemia, Clear and Telos—which offer different prices between $76.75 and $85 for a five-year membership in the program, so the sale price will be between $56.75 and $65. There are 1300 sign-up locations at airports and other locations including Staples stores.
