Four Thai teams, took the top snow sculpture honors over teams from 49 teams from other countries at the 18th China-Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival last week.
Two of the teams shared first place, and two others shared the runner-up honors. Competitors came from China, England, Thailand, Portugal, Switzerland, Macau, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Ukraine.
The winning entries, seen above, are “Fighting Fish Blooming in the Snowland,” inspired by Thai betta fish, and “Goddess of Life—the Water Giver,” inspired by the importance of water in Thai life.
