Whenever I drive east from my home in northern Idaho towards Glacier National Park or Missoula (or points further east), I like to stop at a wonderful collection of cars and trucks located outside a real estate office near Noxon, Montana. This car was new to the collection and while it’s not my favorite color, I thought it a beautiful car.
I think this is a Packard Patrician 4dr Sedan of early 1950s vintage — probably about 1953. It has elegant lines and was of quite limited production—less than 7500 were made that year. It was Packard’s top quality sedan.
It shows some wear and tear, like all real cars do. But they don’t make them like this anymore.
