The Brooklyn Museum is celebrating its 200th Birthday this year, and, as you might expect, it’s received some presents.
One of the most unusual now stands permanently just outside the door, a steel sculpture, called Sooner or Later, by the American master Mark di Suvero. It was a gift to the museum from equally-acclaimed painter Alex Katz. Both are in their 90s, both are still working, and both say they’ve barely ever met the other.
